As the cost-of-living crisis continues to affect millions of people, even the mid-affluent, financial wellbeing has arguably never been more important.
In this special episode of the Money Marketing podcast, chief reporter Lois Vallely chats to IFW founder and chair Chris Budd and vice chair Ruth Sturkey about what financial wellbeing means and why it is so important, and how a new branch of “philanthropic planning” is emerging.
The IFW – a not-for-profit group for financial advisers and planners who want to improve their clients’ wellbeing as well as wealth – was granted ‘Institute’ status by the business secretary on 31 August.
Chris Budd will be speaking at Money Marketing Interactive London at etc.venues, 133 Houndsditch on 29 September, where he will explore what financial wellbeing really is and the opportunity it presents for advisers.
